2005 Taping Information:

Do you have large items to bring to the television show?

At least two weeks before the Canadian Antiques Roadshow comes to your town, we encourage you to write the production office or send us an e-mail if you have furniture or other large antiques that you’d like to have evaluated, but which are too large or bulky to bring to the venue yourself. Please note that we will not pickup items more than 20 miles from the venue.

Once we have your contact details and information about your items, including good photographs, and if you meet all the other criteria, you’ll be contacted by a production representative. Arrangements will be made for that person and an expert to visit you in your home to look at your furniture. Pieces are chosen both as background dressing for the show and as suitable items for an on-air appraisal. If you ‘loan’ your items to the show, you are given a personal appointment time for the recording day, but not a guarantee that you will appear on television.

So if you have a large piece of furniture or a great number of interesting items which you think might be of interest to the Canadian Antiques Roadshow, send us pictures and a note describing your treasures.

Please include your name, address and phone numbers so that we can contact you.

Mail your request to:

Remember -- we will not pickup items more than 20 miles from the venue.
