William Van Horne, President of Canadian Pacific Railway announced that the new Windsor Station: "Beats all creation, the new CPR Station.” The "Richardsonian" style building, designed by Bruce Price, was built between June 1887 and February 1889, at a cost of $300,000. It made a perfect venue for the Canadian Antiques Roadshow’s stop in Montreal on a wet holiday Monday.
