May 18/05 at Alloway Hall, Manitoba Museum

The Manitoba’s Museum’s Alloway Hall was the next stop on our 2005 tour. The province’s largest museum is well-known for its planetarium, science center and its full scale replica of the Nonsuch, whose voyage in 1668 led to the founding of the Hudson’s Bay Company. Despite a short city power outage in the morning, everyone had a wonderful time and the experts were amazed to see such a vast array of interesting and unusual items.
