I.H. of Kincardine, Ontario writes:

This bronze I bought from a lady about 15 years ago when we had an Antique shop.
It was her father's, who was a doctor and a patient either gave it as a present or paid in lieu of money. There is no signature or any markings on it. It is obviously a smoker's item.. There are 3 horns, which look ivory, but all came out. Would love to know a rough date.

It appears for the photo that this is an inkwell. It maybe bronze, but from the colour on the photo it may be a white metal with a bronzed finish. I was not able to see detail of the horns. Again they may be ivory or faux ivory. Date & value is hard to say from viewing these photos.
